2010 NEWSLETTER

Howdy from SF,

It’s time to make plans for the 2010 Chuck Wagon Races. We are updating our records and need your new e-mail addresses, addresses and phone numbers in order to keep you instantly updated on our plans.

The camping, road and trail situation will be the same as last year. Enter through the ōF West gate and proceed to your reserved campsite. All connecting gates will be open between the SF and ōF Ranch. Our ford washed out again but should be repaired by mid August. Ask at the gate.

Teddy Moorehead will again be available to repair your tack and dish out sound advice on select subjects. We plan to have great food venues available.

Dan and Peggy have completed a preliminary schedule and updated their website at: www.chuckwagonraces.com.

We do expect a large crowd this year. As usual, last year’s campers have first rights of refusal. Primitive sites are $70 and electric sites are $130. Your site reservations and port-a-potty fees must be paid ON OR BEFORE July 5th. **Port-a-potties will again be $110 each and should be paid along with your campsite fee.

Checks should be written to Ron OR Patty Bonds and mailed to the address listed above.

As in the past, please help us with cleanup by taking your trash with you when you leave. Aluminum cans may be left at your site if bagged separately. Hay left behind should be removed from the field (put it in the woods near your camp). Any wood, stone or blocks should also be taken into the woods. Do not take glass containers out of your camp when riding. Your horse may be the one cut by broken glass and the cleanup is nearly impossible.

You may start your site cleanup on the weekend of August 7th. Campers and stock pens may be set up starting August 21st. The ōF West gate will be open for campers at 8:00 a.m.Saturday, August 28th. From that time until the races are over, the SF Highway 95 gate will be closed.

Thanks in advance for your immediate attention to this matter and letting us know ASAP as to your plans. Again, payment not received by midnight, July 5th will be considered open for rent...ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS! We’re sure looking forward to visiting with each of you again this year. See you soon!

Ron & Patty @ SF

**Toilet cleaning (Thursday and Saturday morning only) included with the $110 fee paid to us. However, all extra toilet, RV or horse trailer cleanouts will be $25 paid directly to Arkansas Toilets.
